Bruce Arms Portrait

Bruce has been Scoutmaster for Troop 444 in Concord for the past eight years. He has been involved with scouting for 14 years, with the support of his wife Dianne, daughter Noelle and son Jay, an Eagle Scout. Bruce is proud to serve with the Scouters and Scouts of Troop 444, their program including Skills Camp, Twelve Tribes and high adventure activities including backpacking, canoeing and cycling. Completing High Adventure Training added to his skills.

Bruce has served as an adult leader in the MDSC National Youth Leadership Training program. He believes the NYLT program is one of the most unique offerings of the BSA and works to assure youth participation Council wide. He has served in support of eleven NYLT courses – three as Scoutmaster.

Bruce completed Wood Badge training in 2003 and has served on Wood Badge staff in 2006, 2008 and 2009. He used to be a Beaver, and proudly led Owls and Buffalos to achieve their vision of success as a Troop Guide.

Aside from his dedication to scouting, Bruce enjoys working with Dianne and Noelle in a local non-profit youth educational/community theatre group – Poison Apple Productions.
