All Cub Scout Families are welcome to Cub Scout Family Weekend Camp. Even though all activities are designed for Cub Scouts to get their advancement, other members of the family can attend and be our guests. They will be able to do the same activities and experience the great outdoors. If siblings come to camp, they must be accompanied by their parents.
Meals will start on Saturday with breakfast. Families are encouraged to eat dinner on the way up to camp Friday night.
Siblings must be accompanied by a parent at all activities and events. There will be no advancement for siblings. A camp patch is included in the camp fee. Cub Scouts can have their advancement signed off by parents. There will also be campfire programs and other activities for the whole family to enjoy.
Each Cub Scout Family Camp will begin at 4pm, Friday though you may choose to arrive any time after that, provided you arrive between the day it starts and just after lunch on the last day of camp. The first meal at camp is breakfast on Saturday. The Webelos weekends at Camp Wolfeboro will end just after breakfast on Sunday.
Each camp will include many fun activities that will be based on the theme for that event. Some of the activities you will find at camp are; Archery, BB Gun Shooting, Scout Skills, Whittling, Hiking, Nature Activities, Campfire Activities, and Crafts.
At Camp Lindblad you will share one of 10 beautiful campsites nestled in the redwoods. Each site has a fire pit, picnic tables and a sun shade to cover one table. The bathrooms are located near the program areas as well as near the campsite you will be in. There is a dining hall which you will go to get all of your meals while at camp.
Please remember to have all items packed in easily carried bags as parking is not located near camp sites. All of your gear will be loaded into the camp truck and moved to a spot closer to the camp site, as you make the scenic hike into camp. Once in Wolfeboro, you will carry your bags to your site. Bring only what you need and can easily move.
