Notes

  1. Vehicles cannot be parked along the highway right-of-way. The CHP will ticket and may tow all vehicles parked along the right-of-way.
  2. Do not let your Webelos Scout wander around or play on or near the highway. It is a very dangerous area.
  3. Vehicles shall be parked in the parking areas on the road into camp a short distance from the highway. Parking space is limited. Please car pool to camp with other people from your pack.
  4. The road into Camp Wolfeboro is an unmaintained Forest Service road and is for 4-wheel drive, high-clearance vehicles only. If you drive into camp and your vehicle gets stuck, the camp truck will not be used to tow you out. The cost of being towed out can exceed $175.
  5. The camp truck will carry your gear into camp and drop it off near the Pioneer Bridge. The camp truck will leave the top of the hill promptly at 5:00pm, 6:00pm and 7:00pm on Friday.
  6. The camp truck will make only one trip to the top of the hill on Sunday morning (with gear only). The truck will depart for the top of the hill no later than 10:30am.
  7. Make sure that all of your Webelos Scouts understand the enclosed rules.
  8. Camp Wolfeboro is in extremely rugged terrain. If you have a physically handicapped Webelos Scout, please notify the Mt. Diablo Silverado Council office no later than June 30th, 2008 so that arrangements for transportation into and out of camp can be made.
  9. Summer thunderstorms are common at Camp Wolfeboro. Be prepared and bring a jacket, raincoat or poncho and a ground cloth.
