Our Annual Popcorn Fundraising Sales are under way. Yuette Warnock (925) 779-1538, our Popcorn Chair, and Rick Hornbeck, (925) 778-9504, our Finance Committee Chair, will help you with anything you need. This is an excellent fundraiser for your unit.

Scouting For Food

Door hangers will be handed out at our November Roundtable on Thursday, November 10th at the Rio Grande LDS Church and will be distributed on Saturday, November 10th to area homes.

Food pickup will be on Saturday, November 15th, with the drop off trailer to be at the Rio Grande LDS Church's left parking lot.

Friends of Scouting

Rick Hornbeck will be the District's FOS Chair for the upcoming 2008 Campaign. He'll be contacting all of the Units in the Black Diamond District to help coordinate training and presentations.

Be talking to your parents to see who would like to be your Unit FOS coordinator. Also, be sure to attend the November Roundtable when we will be honoring those Units who went "Above and Beyond" in 2008.

Annual Christmas Tree Pickup

This year's Christmas tree collection committee co-chairs are Craig Baker and Mike Pruett. The dates for pick-up are on consecutive Saturdays and Sundays - January 3th and 4th, and January 10th and 11th.
