Included: Patch, campsite, activities (Outdoorsman, Showman, Forester, Geologist), activity pins, afternoon snack, grills to cook evening dinner, S?mores, campfire and Sunday continental breakfast.

WEBELOREE is a chance for WEBELOS to enjoy an overnight tent camping experience at nearby Camp Herms in El Cerrito while working on Activity Pins.

  1. Registration is done on-line by Sunday, 9/28/08, through www.bsa-mdsc.org for the first 200 WEBELOS. Individual registration will be grouped according to Pack and Den number.
  2. Each WEBELOS must be accompanied by a parent or guardian. Adult leaders must stay with their WEBELOS throughout the day, and assist when requested.
  3. Required Medical Records: WEBELOS and adults under 40 years old required a Class 1 Medical Record Form. Adults (40+) require a Class 3 Medical Record signed by a healthcare professional. Forms available at http://www.bsa-mdsc.org/forms.php#medical. Bring medical records with you to camp.
  4. All adults must read the Guide to Safe Scouting and complete the Youth Protection Training online at www.bsa-mdsc.org/training/online.php. No adult can be alone with a Scout except his/her own son.
  5. By camp rule, vehicles may not leave camp between 11PM and 7 AM.
  6. Field uniforms (including the official shirt) must be worn during check-in and flag ceremonies. Activity uniform (including a Scout related T-shirt) is permitted during Round Robin sessions.
  7. Meals: You are responsible for your own meals/beverages Saturday lunch and dinner. No alcohol is allowed per BSA policy. For dinner, bring foil wrapped dinners to be cooked on charcoal grills provided by camp. Recipes for dinners are attached. Light snack Saturday afternoon, S?mores Saturday evening, and continental breakfast Sunday morning provided.
  8. What to bring: WEBELOS are to select and pack their own gear (Outdoor Req. #1). Items to bring: day pack, water bottle, ground cover, tent, sleeping bag/pad, flashlight, toiletries, sack lunch, foil dinner, mess kit, WEBELOS handbook, field and activity uniform, extra warm clothes (40 degrees at night), and a Do Your Best attitude!!! Dens are encouraged to prepare a skit for the Campfire Program.
  9. What not to bring: Knives/axes (other than a pocketknife* must have Whittling Chip), electronics of any kind (games, music, etc.). Per BSA Policy ? no alcoholic beverages or fireworks permitted. * NOTE: Pocketknives used in an unsafe manner will be confiscated by Camp Staff and returned only to an Adult Leader.
  10. No refunds after September 26.
