Annual Recognition Dinner

The Mt. Diablo Silverado Council holds an annual recognition dinner to honor those volunteers who go above and beyond and serve on the council level.  We also honor volunteers who have achieved the Silver Beaver award.

The Silver Beaver Award recognizes Scouters of exceptional character who have provided distinguished service within a council. A committee of Silver Beaver recipients will select approximately nine Scouters, who will be recognized at our February Annual Recognition Dinner.

Scouting for Food

This year Scouting For Food will take place on November 9th and 16th, 2013.

Over the years, Scouting for Food effort has truly been one of the most impressive undertakings by the Cub Scouts, Boy Scouts, Venturers, Sea Scouts, Explorers and their leaders and parents. It has been a coordinated team effort that feeds the hungry. During the economic down turn in our economy, the need for a food drive is even more necessary.

MDSC Video Competition

ANNOUNCING a Council-wide Video Competition!

Between March 1, 2012 and June 30, 2012 we will be running a council-wide “Scouts in Action” video competition! PRIZES WILL BE AWARDED! 

Contestants will have their videos hosted on the Council Youtube account.

Please submit your entry in 1 or more of the following categories:

·         Service Projects

·         Camp Wolfeboro
