The Mt. Diablo Silverado Council holds an annual recognition dinner to honor those volunteers who go above and beyond and serve on the council level. We also honor volunteers who have achieved the Silver Beaver award. The volunteers who will be recognized as Silver Beavers for the 2011 program year are as follows:
November 10th and 17th, 2012 During the 100th Anniversary of the Boy Scouts of America one of the ways we showed that Scouts care about their community, and for those who are less fortunate, is through the Scouting for Food collection. The goal of all the Boy Scout councils in the Bay Area working together, was to collect One - Million Cans of Food between November 21, 2009 and November 20, 2010. We were just shy of the goal.
Join us this very special year in celebrating the 100th anniversay of the first Eagle Scout Award. In honor of this momentous occasion, the Mt. Diablo Silverado Council will be holding a special dinner.
