Make a Gift in Perpetuity

The growth of the ENDOWMENT FUND and its ability to generate operating funds from its earnings is vital to the future of our Council.  A board of Trustees manages the endowment fund and has a clearly defined investment policy designed to achieve maximum returns consistent with board policy.

Gifts of $1000 and up in cash or marketable securities to the endowment fund, will earn a James E. West Fellowship award. Many individuals and corporations make these gifts either on behalf of someone else -–such as in honor of an Eagle Scout, Silver Beaver recipient, a retirement, a special accomplishment, or anniversary – or in memory of a special individual.

Second Century Societyawards are presented to donors who make an outright gift of $25,000 or more payable over five years, or a deferred gift of $100,000 or more to the council endowment fund.

All contributors, cash or deferred, will become members of the council’s Heritage Society and receive exclusive invitations and recognition.
