Please consider this opportunity to join Las Aguilas de Diablo.

Las Aguilas de Diablo was founded in 1987 to provide an opportunity for successful businessmen and community leaders to promote further the ideals of Scouting in the Mt. Diablo Silverado Council. Our current membership includes many local community leaders and businessmen. Special projects currently include:

• sponsorship of the Annual Eagle Scout Recognition Dinner,
• significant annual contributions to the Council Endowment Trust Fund, and
• sponsorship of Eagle Scout Scholarship programs (click here for scholarship application and pages 2-4).

As an item of interest, during our most recent Annual Eagle Dinners in the spring, BSA National President Rick Cronk addressed some 100 new Eagle Scouts, hosted by a similar number of local business community representatives like you. This is an exciting event and a great opportunity to associate new Eagle Scouts with business leader role models. Past speakers have included government leaders, space shuttle astronauts, civic leaders, and professional sports standouts. You may wish to attend this year - May 7th, 2008.

Las Aguilas de Diablo chapter dues are $250 per year. These dues cover the cost of sponsoring the Eagle Scout Recognition Dinner and include a portion that is contributed to the Council Endowment Fund and the Eagle Scout Scholarship Program.
