Chief Solano District
The Chief Solano District covers the cities of Fairfield, Suisun City, and Travis Air Force Base.
Veteran's Day Parade - Friday, November 11th at 12:30 PM
All Scouts are encouraged to march with the District Unit in one of the largest Veteran's Day parades in Northern California! Please wear dress uniforms. Units are encouraged to bring their unit flags, and also their American Flags! The more flags the better for this parade. This year Veteran's Day is both a state and federal holiday! Formation is along Webster Street starting at Kentucky Street, back to Travis Blvd.
District Awards Night - Thursday, November 10th @ 7:30 PM
We are using our regular Roundtable night this month for a special DISTRICT AWARDS EVENT, with a dessert bar! The award portion of the night will start promptly at 7:30 PM. Location is Community United Methodist Church, 1875 Fairfield Avenue in Fairfield.
6:00 PM - Doors Open
6:30 to 7:15 - Program tables for Food Drive and Christmas Tree Recycling will be open and manned by the Chairs of these next district events. Normal RT announcements will be integrated into the program starting at 7:30.

On October 7th and 8th OWL, Outdoor Leadership Skills Training and the outdoor portion of Scoutmaster Specific Training will be put on in the Chief Solano District. The location, which will be either at Twin Sisters or the Girl Scout Camp, will finish at 4:00pm Saturday. The indoor portion of Scoutmaster Position Specific Training could be competed at Advancecamp on the 22nd of September. Early registration for Advancecamp is before Sept. 1st.
