Can recall anticipation of going camping as a youth? The opportunity to sleep out under the stars and getting away from home--no matter how far--is a feeling that many of us remember fondly. This outdoor adventure is still the promise of Scouting--indeed three fourths of Scouting is "outing".
Camp Wolfeboro is located in the high Sierra Nevada Mountains on the shores of the Stanislaus River. Add to that a caring, enthusiastic, interactive staff that helps you with your summer camp goals and you get an unbeatable Scouting experience. Your troop campsite is the heart of your program, and our staff is available to help you with advancement, high adventure outings, developing better leaders, or just setting a fishing line and breathing pristine mountain air. The 2013 season offers seven sessions of the Wolfeboro experience that will challenge and inspire everyone who attends.
Camp Wolfeboro is now accepting reservations for the 2013 camping season. Send in your reservation form and fee today in order to save your unit a place at Wolfeboro next summer. Please send forms in as early as possible, as popular sites and weeks fill up quickly. There are a few sites still available, please see below!!
The 2013 Camp Wolfeboro Leaders Guide has been designed to help you prepare to visit camp and make your time there as enjoyable as possible. Look it over carefully as many things have changed from previous years. You will find several planning forms and handouts in the rear of the guide, please copy them as necessary for your Scouts. If you should need any further assistance, please contact Pam Smith, the Council Program Secretary. She can be reached through The Mt. Diablo Silverado Council Office at 800 Ellinwood Way Pleasant Hill, CA. Her telephone number is (925) 674-6126 or via e-mail.
Our goal is to serve units by helping to provide a program for your youth. The program ideas in this handbook are only a sample of the most popular activities in and around camp Wolfeboro. Our staff is always eager to help you plan your own special hiking, canoeing, or climbing adventures!
If you signed up to be a camp Medic please select the Camp Medic Power Point below and to take you training. Thank you!
