Flatwater Experience

 

Canoeing or kayaking on lakes or other flatwater bodies.  This should be the FIRST segment for units beginning the Path of the Paddle, as it will give an opportunity to learn skills that are needed in several future Experiences:

- Strokes: Bow strokes, Stern strokes, sculling, draws, pries
- Single and Tandem Canoeing
- Canoe Rescues.
